Pinewood Derby 2009

Our annual Pinewood Derby was held this past Friday, January 30th at Brookvale school. This special Friday meeting was our Pack meeting for the month of January and featured a host of activities.

Our event chair this year was Norman Jordan, who worked closely with a number of people on organizing and putting on the event. Kevin Stephens was in charge of tabulating the race results and “checking in” each car to make sure they fit the construction parameters. George Bonnand, Mark Clevenger, and Robert Cook assisted with getting cars ready to race and such.  

Our “Pit Stop” snack bar was manned by Julie Crossman and many other volunteers.

Congratulations to Mitchell Stephens who was our grand champion this year.
